Cloud IX F-Series vs FS-Series: Which Full Carbon Foil Package?

Cloud IX Surffoils builds two full carbon foil package lines, and both arrive genuinely complete: front and rear wings with covers, carbon mast with cover, fuselage and a travel case. The choice between F-Series and FS-Series comes down to how you ride and how fast you want to go.

F-Series: the balanced blend

The F-Series, the froth quiver, takes a design approach Cloud IX describes as a perfectly balanced blend of high aspect and low aspect. In practice that means small-wing, low aspect handling with the speed, pump and glide of a high aspect wing: sweet, buttery, lightning fast turns with glide. Wing sizes run F24, F28, F32, F38 and F42, and the package includes a mast in 66, 76 or 86 cm, a fuselage with three tail settings, and a travel case that holds up to three wings. Packages from 1,390 euros.

FS-Series: the split fuselage step up

The FS-Series merges the front portion of the fuselage with the wing itself. That split fuselage construction makes the whole setup stronger, stiffer and more direct, with fully automated milling so every connection fits precisely. The FS wings are remarkably small yet lift early, and Cloud IX quotes up to 30 percent more speed compared to the F-Series. They are versatile too: brilliant for wing foiling and capable of getting prone foilers going in the smallest waves. Sizes run from FS-550 up to FS-1780, packages from 2,245 euros.

Already own an F-Series?

There is a documented upgrade path: F-Series owners can add the FS-850 wing, keeping the existing fuselage with a standard adapter or moving to the split setup. Ask us before ordering and we will confirm exactly what your current set needs.
